The depositary shall accomplish all the operations in relation to the day-to-day administration of the UCITS’ assets held in its custody.
This means that the depositary is, in particular, responsible for the collection of dividends, interests and matured securities, the exercise of securities rights and, in general, for any other operation in relation to the day-to-day administration of the securities and liquid assets belonging to the UCITS.
To the extent that the operations referred to above involve assets that are not held in custody by the depositary itself, it may, on the basis of contracts, entrust the execution thereof to the delegates with whom the assets are actually deposited.
